Explanation: group like numbers together, leaving only variables on one side, while having the equation equal to either -120, 120, whatever is easier. Then, when you have the equation x^2 + 24x +_ +y^2 + 2y +_=-120. Complete both squares by taking (h/2)^2 and (k/2)^2. Remember to fill in the respective blank spaces, and add these numbers to the opposite side too. Then just simplify into the circle formula and pick out the center and radius.
