Answer:

Let x be Mr. Frank’s monthly salary.

6% of x = 250

0.06x = 250

x = 250 / 0.06

x = 4166.67 Ghana cedis

Now that we know his monthly salary, we can calculate the total amount spent on his parents as follows:

20% of x = 0.2 * 4166.67 = 833.33 Ghana cedis

833.33 is the answer

Explanation:

Let x be Mr Frank's monthly salary.

Then:

Food = 0.2x

Children = 0.25x

Parent = 0.2x

Car = 0.1x

Entertainment = 0.1x

Savings = 0.06x = 250

Cloth = 0.01x

Solving for x:

0.06x = 250

x = 250/0.06

x = 4166.67

Therefore, Mr Frank's monthly salary is 4166.67 cedis.

Total amount spent on parents:

Parent = 0.2x

Parent = 0.2(4166.67)

Parent = 833.33

Therefore, the total amount spent on his parents is 833.33 cedis.
