Let the 3 consecutive even numbers are :
x , x + 2 , x + 4

2 ( x + x + 2 + x + 4 ) = x ( x + 2 )

2 ( 3x + 6 ) = x ^ 2 + 2x

6x + 12 = x ^ 2 + 2x

x ^ 2 - 4x - 12 = 0

x ^ 2 + 2x - 6x - 12 = 0

x ( x + 2 ) - 6 ( x + 2 ) = 0

x = -2 or x = 6

No's are respectively -2 , 0 , 2 or 6 , 8 , 10
