Multiply the top with the other top and the bottom with the other bottom. You could also cross multiple and cancel them out.

Multiply the top: 2x4=8

Multiply the bottom: 3x3=9

(8)/(9)

Cross multiplication is finding the least common factor or the number itself and simplifying.


(3)/(2)×
(4)/(3)

We see that there is a 3 for the top and bottom and so we can cancel them out

This leaves us with:
(4)/(2)

By simplifying, we get:
