Can we express 1,012 as the sum of two consecutive number?​

x + x + 1 = 1012

2x + 1 = 1012

2x = 1011

x = 505.5

Then two consecutive numbers are 505.5 and 506.5

It isn't said that number should be integer ? It can be anything . That is why " yes " would be the correct answer .
