A scientist has two solutions which she has a label solution a and solution be each contains salt she knows that the solution A is 40% salt solution B is 90% salt she wants to obtain 140 ounces of a mixture that is 75% salt how many ounces of each solution should she use?

Explanation:

A+B=90+40

90+40 = 130

130(0.75) = 97.5

130-97.5 = 32.5

32.5x2 = 65

Now

65 - 15 = 50
