Explanation:

the area of such a trapezoid (or trapezium) is

height × (top line + baseline) / 2

in our case

2 × (1.6 + 4) / 2 = 1.6 + 4 = 5.6

just in case, remember, since the sides and height are all in m (meters), the area is in m² (square meters).
