(JK)/(XY) ( substitute values )


(LJ)/(8.2) =
(13.92)/(8.7) ( cross- multiply )

8.7 × LJ = 8.2 × 13.92 = 114.144 ( divide both sides by 8.7 )

LJ =
(114.144)/(8.7) = 13.12
