Explanation:

Sometimes it is hard to 'see' the factorization....so you can take the HCF out of the three terms to perhaps see it better:

Factor out a '4'

4* ( 2n^2 + 17n + 21 )

4 ( 2n +3 )(n +7 ) DONE.
