Answer: Yes, I agree with cherrytea78 it would be false.

Explanation: As you know when a city can have a large population but today other countries have larger populations in other cities such as Tokyo, Japan has nearly 40 million largest in Asia, Beijing has 21 million people 7th largest city in Asia, Mexico City has nearly 22 million people largest city in America, New York has the population of 19.4 million people second largest population in America. But typically complex civilizations would have larger populations because the inventions have let them live longer just like the Industrial Revolution when people started working in factories and the population was boosted decades later. When you go to other cities you will see people crowded when they are in the city. This is why urbanization, advanced technologies, exports/imports, etc have caused the world population to boost.

Answer:

I would think false

Step-by-step explanation:

A city with a large population could be complex, yes, but that is not the reason it is complex. Typically complex civilizations will have larger populations because their inventions enable them to live longer.

Instead, these are reasons a complex civilization is complex:

  • urban development
  • advanced farming techniques + irrigation
  • advanced communication forms, for example a written language
  • and so on.

Hope this helps and good luck on your assignment!
