Answer:

as I know the SI unit of momentum is = kg×m /s so momentum. P=MV where M is mass & V is velocity so momentum is mass × velocity the answer will be 80 kg×m/s

GiveN:-

  • Mass of Child = 20 kg
  • Velocity of the child = 4 m/s

To FinD:-

  • Momentum = ??

SolutioN:-

Using Momentum formula:-

\large \hookrightarrow \: { \underline{ \overline{ \boxed{ \sf{ \: p = \: mv \: }}}}} \\

where,

  • » p denotes momentum.
  • » m denotes mass of the object.
  • » v denotes velocity of the object.

\large \sf\longrightarrow \: \: p = \: mv \: \\

\large \sf\longrightarrow \: \: p = \: 20 * 4\: \\

\large\sf\longrightarrow \: \: p = \: 80 \: \: \\

\large \sf\longrightarrow \: \: p = \: 80 \: \: kg. m/s \\
