If we let this shorter leg be x, the longer leg will be √3 · x

The hypotenuse will be 2x

We are given longer leg = √3 · x = 18

x = 18/√3 = 10.39230...
= 10.4 rounded to the nearest tenth

Given x = 10.4, the hypotenuse = 2x = 2 x 10.4 = 20.8
