15pt:

You and 9 friends go out to brunch at First Watch. The bill comes to $150 pre-tax (7%), you all decide that 20% is a good tip to leave. Instead of asking the server to do separate checks for each person, you all agree to split it evenly, you designate 1 person to pay the bill in full and everyone will just Zelle them afterwards. How much should you send them (assuming you weren’t the one who paid the bill in full)?

Answer:

Assuming a pre-tax bill of $150 with a 7% tax and a 20% tip, the total amount is $150 + ($150 * 0.07) + ($150 * 0.20) = $187.50. To split the bill evenly among 10 people, each person should pay $187.50 / 10 = $18.75. If you did not pay the full bill, send $18.75 to the person who did.
