Pedro Infante, a famous Mexican singer and actor, released his first record in December 1943. Although he was nominated for Best Actor in two movies, it wasn't until 1956 that he won the award for his role in La Vida No Vale Nada. Surprisingly, one of his first movies, Cuando Habla el Corazón, didn't do well at the box office and only lasted a week in theaters. Sadly, Infante died in a plane crash on April 15, 1957. He was known as the King of Mexican Bolero and the Idol from Guamuchil.
