Answer: 0.35

Explanation:

What is the Probability of Bass for 7th? It is 9.

We only want the probability for 7th ONLY.

What frequencies do we see? 8,9,3,6.

Add these numbers up. 8+9+3+6=26 now we write our fraction.

9 as the numerator, 26 as the denominator; so 9/26.

now we divide the smaller number; 9 and the bigger number;26.

9 divided by 26 is 0.346153846.

To round to nearest Hundredth; take 0.346153846 and move to the third number after the decimal. It is 6. Is 6 bigger than 5? yes. So round 0.346153846 to 0.350000000. Take out the zeros and the Probability of a 7th grader playing bass as a decimal rounded to the nearest Hundredth is 0.35.
