1. The energy of an electromagnetic wave is directly proportional to its frequency, which is inversely proportional to its wavelength. This means that shorter wavelength electromagnetic radiation, such as gamma rays, have more energy than longer wavelength radiation, such as radio waves.

2. There are several types of telescopes used for studying the universe, including optical telescopes, radio telescopes, X-ray telescopes, and gamma-ray telescopes. Optical telescopes use lenses or mirrors to collect and focus visible light, while radio telescopes use large antennas to detect radio waves emitted by celestial objects. X-ray telescopes and gamma-ray telescopes detect high energy radiation emitted by objects such as black holes and supernovae.

3. The generally accepted theory for the origin of the universe is the Big Bang theory. This theory proposes that the universe began as a singularity, a point of infinite density and temperature, and has been expanding and cooling ever since. Stars are believed to form from clouds of gas and dust that collapse under their own gravity.

4. The four types of galaxies are spiral galaxies, barred spiral galaxies, elliptical galaxies, and irregular galaxies. Our galaxy is a spiral galaxy called the Milky Way.
