Answer:

(24/11) + (6√5) / 11

Explanation:

first of all, multiply top and bottom by (4 + √5).

6/(4 - √5) X (4 + √5)/(4 + √5)

= 6(4 + √5) / (4 - √5)(4 + √5)

= (24 + 6√5) / (16 + 4√5 - 4√5 -(√5)²)

= (24 + 6√5)/ (16 - 5)

= (24 + 6√5) / 11

= (24/11) + (6√5) /11

we are multiplying out the brackets, then simplifying it all. the number on the bottom (denominator) will become an integer. keeping it in format

(24 + 6√5) /11 is fine too. ie last line is not always required
