Goal:
The goal for this project is to successfully describe your experience when you bring your automobile into a service station.
Role:
You are preparing to go on vacation, but your car is not performing as it should.
Audience:
The mechanic in the service station, the owner of the station, and your family waiting in the car
Situation:
You and your family have loaded the car for a weekend trip. As you start the car, you notice that it is not performing as it should. Not wanting to have car trouble on the highway, you decide to sta
service station to have the car checked.
Product or Performance:
You are going to construct a conversation between you and the owner or mechanic in the neighborhood service station.
• The conversation must be a minimum of 30 sentences or commands long.
• Sentences must contain a subject and a verb and must express a complete thought. "Hello" or "Good-bye" are not sentences and will not be included as such.
. You must use 15 verbs in command form. 10 of the verbs MUST BE FROM UNIT 4.
. Remember to use familiar commands with your family members in the automobile and to use formal commands with the mechanic and the Service station owner.
• Use a MINIMUM of 5 correctly formed negative commands, either familiar or formal.
• Include a MINIMUM of 15 new vocabulary NOUNS and ADJECTIVES from the chapter.
