The human body has various ways to defend itself against bacterial infections. In the case of E. coli, the immune system can destroy the bacteria by using white blood cells to engulf and digest them. The liver also plays an important role in removing toxins and harmful substances from the body, including bacteria. It does this by producing bile, which contains bile salts that can help break down the cell walls of bacteria and destroy them. Additionally, stomach acid can help to kill bacteria that enter the body through contaminated food. The acidity of stomach acid is strong enough to kill most bacteria that are ingested !!
