Explanation:

Gradient =
\frac{y_(2)-y_(1)} {x_(2)-x_(1)}\\ where;


(x_(1),y_(1) ) is the first point, that is A in this question and


(x_(2) ,y_(2) )is the second point, that is B in this question.
Therefore,
y_(2) -y_(1)=5


x_(2)- x_(1)=1

So, the gradient =
(5)/(1) or 5
