Okay so like BD is bisected by line AC meaning its been cut into two equal parts. So, we can say that line BE=ED.
BE= 6x
ED= 4x +1
Now, we can find out what x equals by substituting these values into the equation BE=ED
That would be solved like this:
6x=4x+1
-4x -4x
2x=1
Divide both sides by two and you get
X= 1/2
