Answer: I feel that Alexander Graham Bell's invention of the telephone was one of the most life changing inventions. The invention of the telephone has evolved drastically throughout the years. Now there are multiple phone companies, such as Apple of Samsung, that allow worldwide communication in just a matter of seconds. The modern day cellphone can do much more than just communication, you can use it as a map, a calculator, an agenda and so much more. This life changing device all fits in your back pocket.

In my opinion, the invention that changed Americans' lives the most is the automobile. The automobile revolutionized transportation and enabled Americans to travel longer distances in shorter amounts of time. The automobile also created new job opportunities, such as auto manufacturing and sales, and spurred the growth of the oil industry. Henry Ford's invention of the assembly line, as discussed in this lesson, made automobiles more affordable and accessible to the average American. Overall, the automobile had a profound impact on American society and helped to shape the modern world as we know it.
