Explanation:

y=(x-7)^2k....... equation 1

2=(12-7)^2xk

where k is constant

2=(5)^2k

2=(5x5)k

2=25k

*Divide both sides by coefficient of k*

2/25=25/25k

k=2/25

y=(17-7)^2 x2/25..... equation 2

y=(10)^2x2/25

y=(10x10) x2/25

y=100x2/25

y=200/25

y=8
