Think about a group you've been a part of at school or at an after-school or volunteer

activity. Describe a time when that group either benefited from diverse experiences an
points of view or suffered because of a lack of diversity. Remember, diversity can include
race, gender, age, experiences, or beliefs.

Answer:

General example!

Step-by-step explanation:

Once a group of volunteers and I travelled to the inner city to serve at a local soup kitchen. Although I really loved the experience, most of the patrons were homeless while none of us had been. It was hard for us to connect into some of their conversations because none of us had ever experienced homelessness before. Most of them already knew each other and their current struggles and didn't care to share them with us, so many of them left to chat among themselves instead of with us. Despite this hardship, I still had a good time and would like to think I helped make an impact.

Hope this helps! :)
