Answer :

  • She will need 7 cans to cover the court.

It's given that, Abeer is staining the wooden floor of a court. The court is in the shape of a rectangle. Its length is 14 meters and its width is 11 meters.

Length of court = 14 m

Width of court = 11 m

Area of court = Length × width

Area of court = 14 × 11

Area of court = 154 m².

Each can of wood stain covers 22 square meters.

Cans she need to cover the courtt = Area of court / 22 square meters

= 154/22

= 7 cans.

Hence, she will need 7 cans to cover the court.
