Answer: Probably 0.33km/hr south is the net velocity

Step-by-step explanation:

Speed= Distance/ Time

Speed in North = 5km/3hrs=1.67km/hr

Speed in South= 2/1hrs=2.00km/hr

Since north and south are in opposite directions, and taking north as the +ve y, we get 1.67-2.00= -0.33km/hr, (-ve represents south direction).
