y is gonna increase by 5 every time so it’s 5(2), 5(3), 5(4) and so on

y should increase by five every time

5x is just a multiple 5 but without knowing how many tines your multiplying. Now we know that x increases by 1 each time, so it should just be normal multiplying. 5(1) = 5, 5(2) = 10, 5(3) = 15 and so on. It's a constant increase of 5.
