Explanation:

as the other answer did correctly :

when dividing by a fraction, this is the same as multiplying with the upside-down fraction.

so,

-3/2 / 7/4 or -3/2 ÷ 7/4 (both symbols mean the same) is the same as

-3/2 × 4/7

and multiplying fractions is easy (the top parts are multiplied and create the result top part, and the bottom parts are multiplied and create the result bottom part).

so, the result is

(-3×4) / (2×7) = -12/14 = -6/7
