Mo is running the tracks where one lap is 400m. After completing some laps, he found that he has completed 40% of the total distance. After another 2, 50% is done. What is the total distance that he needs to cover in meters?

According to the problem, 2 laps make a difference of 10% as:

  • 50% - 40% = 10%

Hence the total distance in terms of laps is:

  • 100% / 10% = 10 times the 2 laps:
