Why can’t we see glittering in the sky very often in large cities

Answer: Light pollution.

Explanation: This is often due to light pollution, in cities such as New York (example) city lights outshine stars in the sky. New York is known as "The city that never sleeps" which means that some lights stay on 24/7. This is a problem that occurs in many large cities, which is why it is hard to see stars at night.
