100% of £75 is

100/100 × £75 = £75 .

increasing it by 5% means +5%

so

100% + 5% = 105%

105% of £75 is

105/100 × £75 = £78.75

hope this helps :)

Answer:

£78.75

Explanation:

An easy way step but longer way to do this is

10% of 75 is 7.5 ((75/10= 7.5))

divide by 2 on both sides

5% = 3.75

then just add it, its increasing 75 by 5%

so 75 + 3.75 = 78.75
