Answer:

(a) Earnhardt (40%), Gordon (29%), Waltrip (18%), and Petty (13%)

(b) 144, work is below

(c) No

Explanation:

(b)

convert 40% to a decimal by dividing by 100 = 0.4

360 x 0.4 = 144 people voted for Earnhardt

(c) converting Petty's percentage to a decimal, we get 0.13. 360 x 0.13 = 46.8, or 47 people, not 65.

Waltrip's percentage, 0.18 x 360 = 64.8, or 65 people.
