Discussion 4.1 Household Chores

At what age do you think children should start helping out with household responsibilities? What are some good responsibilities to start them out with? Why is this a good starting point?

Answer: I think 6 or 7 is the appropriate age to start helping with household responsibilities. Some good chores to start with could be for example, help clear the table after dinner or put their laundry away(with help if needed). This is a good starting point because it starts to set you child up to be able to do things that they will eventually be able to do on their own.
