PART A:

Maya is using 3/4 of the original amount of oats, so she will need:

(3/4) * 12 cups = 9 cups

She wants to double her new recipe, so the final amount of oats she will need is:

2 * 9 cups = 18 cups

Therefore, Maya will need 18 cups of oats.

PART B:

Maya is increasing the amount of blueberries by 1/4 of the original amount, which is:

(1/4) * 34 cups = 8.5 cups

So the new amount of blueberries she will use is:

34 cups + 8.5 cups = 42.5 cups

To double the recipe, Maya will need:

2 * 42.5 cups = 85 cups

Writing the answer as a mixed number:

85 cups = 2 * 34 cups + 17 cups

Therefore, Maya will need 2 and 17/34 cups of blueberries.
