The length AC in the pyramid is 32.5 cm

The perpendicular height is 167 cm

How to find the perpendicular height

The length AC is the diagonal of the square and the length of the diagonal is solved using Pythagoras theorem

AC² = 23² + 23²

AC² = 1058

AC = √1058

AC = 32.53 cm

The length of perpendicular height is solved with trigonometry

tan 79 = opposite / hypotenuse

tan 79 = (perpendicular height) / (half of the diagonal)

tan 79 = (perpendicular height) / 32.5

perpendicular height = 32.5 tan 79

perpendicular height = 167.198
