Both generations had rough patches no matter what, all people go through different things at different times. The generation we are in today is a lot more open and accepting with struggles in life and have many ways to find support or advice. We have a lot more access to things and a lot more ways to communicate. Our parents generation did not have a lot of those things, and if they did they did not have it as good as we do now. Our parents may not have had the opportunity to find support or show the struggles they were going through no matter what that struggle was. Overall, our parents generation was not as open about things and did not have the benefits we have now.
