m = ( - 9 - 7)/(3 - ( - 3)) = ( - 16)/(6) = - (8)/(3)


7 = - (8)/(3) ( - 3) + b


7 = 8 + b


b = - 1


y = - (8)/(3) x - 1

The y-intercept is -1.
