Explanation:

this question is marked as "college".

that cannot be. this is elementary school stuff, so, I hope you are an elementary school student.

remember what you learned about divisions of fractions :

a/b / c/d = (a×d) / (b×c)

so, "outer / inner".

you can also say

a/b / c/d = a/b × d/c = (a×d) / (b×c)

as dividing by a fraction is the same as the multiplication with the upside-down version of that fraction.

the result of a multiplication of fractions is then "upper / lower".

so, your problem here is

2/3 / 4/5 = (2×5) / (3×4) = 10/12 = 5/6

Answer:

(5)/(6).

Explanation:

1. Write the initial expression.

((2)/(3) )/((4)/(5) )

2. Use the properties of fractions to rewrite the expression (check the attached image).

(2)/(3) *(5)/(4)

3. Calculate and simplify.

(2)/(3) *(5)/(4)=(2*5)/(3*4)=(10)/(12)=(5)/(6).
