Answer:

A. Slope = 5/2 , y-intercept = -10

Explanation:

To find the y-intercept, it is always at the point on the y-axis where x=0. In the graph, the function crosses over -10 at x=0. So the y=intercept would be -10.

The slope "equation" is rise/run, aka y / x. In this case, an easy way to find it is by taking the y-intercept and seeing how far it is away from the origin. It is 10 away from the origin. Since this graph is heading right and upwards, it is increasing, resulting in the slope being positive. To find the "x" portion, from the origin, find when the graph crosses the x-intercept (the point where the line crosses through the x-axis). In this case, it will be 4.

Now that we know our y value and x value, put them into the slope formula.

Slope = rise/run --> 10/4 ---> 5/2

Answer: A

Explanation: The y intercept it set on -10 and the x intercept is on 4. To find the slip you will count how far the y intercept is from the origin which is 10 spots away, then how far the x intercept is away from the origin which is 4 spots away. Since both are factors of 2 you divide each part my 2 to give you the slope of 5/2
