Answer:

y = 4x² + 40x + 64

Explanation:

The standard form of a quadratic function is
ax^(2) + bx+c

So, all we have to do here is multiply.

y = 4(x + 2)(x + 8)

y = 4[x(x + 8) + 2(x + 8)] (multiplying x by (x + 8) and 2 by ( x + 8))

y = 4[x² + 8x + 2x + 16]

y = 4[x² + 10x + 16]

y = 4x² + 40x + 64

where a = 4, b = 40 and c = 64
