What are the regulatory mechanisms, specifically transcriptional attenuation and the role of the trp repressor, that control the expression of the tryptophan operon?

The Repressor protein function as an on the TRP operon. Tryptophan act as an when it binds to the repressor. As a result, the active site allows it to the RNA polymerase and transcription.
