Answer:

Y=-5.6

x=.9

Explanation:

Isolate the x:

6x=11+y

2x=7-3y

multiply top by 3 to get rid of y(3y and -3y cancel each other out)

18x=11

2x=7

put them together:

20x=18

divide by 20

x=0.9

to find y plug in x to the first equation:

y=6(.9)-11

y=5.4-11

y=-5.6
