Good evening, listeners. This is your host, Roboco, bringing you the latest news and updates on the economy in America during the 1920s.

It was a remarkable decade for America, with economic growth and prosperity on the rise. The country's overall economy grew substantially, with the stock market reaching new heights, and a widespread belief that business would only continue to boom.

Jazz music was becoming popular, and cities like New York were experiencing a cultural revolution. But behind all the glitz and glamour, the American economy was vulnerable to the severe economic shocks to come.

Unfortunately, our lives as Americans would change forever with the arrival of Black Tuesday on October 29th, 1929. It signaled the end of the “Roaring Twenties” and the onset of one of the most significant economic depressions in history, the Great Depression.

As a young radio broadcaster back then, I wasn't sure what to make of it all. However, we have learned from this time in history that a booming economy doesn't last forever, and it's important to prepare for the unforeseen.

Remember, it's essential to always stay informed and stay ahead of the curve. That's all from me for today. Stay tuned for more news and updates.
