True or false: Because slavery was less oppressive in northern colonies and there were fewer indigenous people in the area, enslaved Africans in New England sometimes allied themselves with their white masters against Native Americans.

Answer:

It's false since slavery wasn't any less harsh in the northern colonies. While New England had fewer enslaved persons than the southern colonies, slavery was nonetheless a terrible and horrible institution in the region. Furthermore, because both populations were frequently subjected to brutality and exploitation by European colonisers, enslaved Africans were unlikely to side with their white owners against Native Americans.
