Given the set 5, 8, 8, 8, 8, 9, 9, 9, 10, & 10. Calculate the mean which is the average of a given data set.

\bold{Mean}=(Sum \ of \ all \ Data \ Points )/(The \ Amount \ of \ Data \ Points \ you \ have)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
\bold{Mean}=(5+8+8+8+8+9+9+10+10 )/(10)
\Longrightarrow \bold{Mean}=(75 )/(10)
\Longrightarrow \bold{Mean}=7.5
\Longrightarrow \boxed{\bold{Mean} \approx 8} \therefore Sol.
