In order to find -1.3, we first have to solve the problem.

-2 - (-0.7)

Since negative - negative = negative, we know our answer is already going to be negative.

Subtract -0.7 from -2, and to make it easier you can do it on a calculator if you want.

First remove the brackets, then turn the negative sign on -0.7 and the minus sign into a plus sign. It will turn into:

-2 + 0.7

When you add, 0.7 to -2, the sum is -1.3.

Therefore you mark the arrow on -1.3
