Triangle ABC ~ triangle DEF. Use the image to answer the question.

a triangle ABC with side AB labeled 11, side CA labeled 7.6 and side BC labeled 7.9 and a second triangle DEF with side DE labeled 2.2

Determine the measurement of EF.

EF = 1.58
EF = 1.52
EF = 1.1

Answer:

EF is equal to 1.58

Take 11 and divide it by 2.2 to get 5, then divide 7.9(BC) and 5 which is 1.58(EF)

Also I got this right on the test, hope it helps <3

Explanation:

Since DE is provided (2.2), we use that in order to find EF.

First, divide the length of AB by the length of DE.

11 ÷ 2.2 = 5

So we use 5 to figure out the measurement for EF.

BC = EF, so we divide BC by 5 to get EF.

7.9 ÷ 5 = 1.58

therefore EF = 1.58
