i think You can do addition and subtraction in any order. So let's remove all the brackets.

p + (p-q) + q + (q-p) = p + p - q + q + q - p

Now let's rearrange these two:

p + p - q + q + q - p

= p - p + p - q + q + q

= 0 + p - q + q + q

We get p - q + q + q.

Now,

p - q + q +q

= p + 0 + q

= p + q

Therefore, answer: p + q.
