You spent 1 hour and 46 minutes.
1 hour is 60 minutes, at 11:00 pm you would have spent 40 minutes doing what you had started so from 10:20pm to 11:00pm 40 minutes passed. Then you would add 60 minutes from 11:00pm to 12:00am.
( although 12:00 is marked as we know that 12:00 am marks the earths rotation of a day which means at 12:00am the sun has begun to reach your point of rotation on earth) from 12:00am to 12:06am it has past 6 minutes

40mins + 60mins+6mins=106mins
1 hour goes into 106mins so
106-60= 46

You spent 1 hour and 46mins

You started at 10:20 pm on April 18th and finished at 12:06 am on April 19th. This means that the time elapsed is between two different days. To calculate the amount of time spent doing that thing, we need to subtract the start time from the end time.

First, let's convert the start time to 24-hour format, which is 22:20. Then, we can subtract 22:20 from 00:06 (12:06 am).

00:06
- 22:20
____
01:46

Therefore, you spent 1 hour and 46 minutes doing that thing.
