$\sqrt{\text{x}+3} = 6\\\\\text{x}+3 = 6^2\\\\\text{x}+3 = 36\\\\\text{x} = 36-3\\\\\text{x} = 33\\\\$

Check:

$\sqrt{\text{x}+3} = 6\\\\√(33+3) = 6\\\\√(36) = 6\\\\6 = 6 \ \ \ \checkmark\\\\$
